A surface cold front will cross St. Lawrence County today bringing scattered showers and embedded thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Behind this front, drier conditions and seasonable temperatures are expected from

Friday through the weekend.

The high today will be around 76 with a 60 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, NWS says.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight before 11 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., the service sayS. The overnight low will be around 57.

Temps will be in the 70s with mostly sunny skies Friday through Sunday, NWS says.
