A dry cold front will pass southward across the North Country early this morning, bringing a northerly wind shift and slightly cooler temperatures, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Skies will trend mostly sunny by late morning or early afternoon, the service says. Highs today will be around 55 with cloudy skies becoming sunny as the day unfolds.
After a quiet night, low pressure moving northward from the Carolinas will bring numerous showers across our region on Tuesday. The overnight low tonight will be around 36, NWS says.
Showers are likely, mainly after 10 a.m., with a high near 58 on Tuesday. Overnight lows will be around 48 with a 50 percent chance of rain overnight on Tuesday.
Very warm temperatures are expected on Thursday with high pressure in place aloft. A surface cold front will bring the potential for more showers, and potentially a thunderstorm, on Friday.

Showers likely, mainly after 10am. Increasing clouds, with a high near 58. Southeast wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
