CANTON — St. Lawrence University has once again received high marks in a national magazine college ranking.
Forbes magazine placed St. Lawrence in the top 100 private colleges and universities in its most recent "America's Top Colleges" report.
St. Lawrence ranked No. 96 among private colleges and 129th among all universities.
The magazine and the Center for College Affordability and Productivity (CCAP) developed the methodology for ranking higher educational institutions. CCAP looks at 12 factors to calculate their rankings, including student satisfaction, post-graduate success and graduation rates.
St. Lawrence was one of 650 institutions ranked this year by Forbes, placing it in the top 20th percentile of higher educational institutions ranked by the magazine.
