OGDENSBURG -- Food Sense is taking orders for April that must be in by April 10. Representatives say they have not received many orders and need more to ensure delivery.

Food stamp withdrawal date is April 13 with delivery date April 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, corner of Ford and Franklin streets.

Orders can be placed at the church from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Orders will be taken at Riverview Towers Thursdays from noon to 12:30 p.m.

The projected list for April, for $15.50, includes 1 pound of Italian meatballs, 12 oz. of veal patties, 1 pound of ground chicken, 1 pound of Italian sausage, 1 pound of ziti, 26 oz. of spaghetti sauce, 8 oz. of frozen pasta, 17 oz. of tomato chicken soup, 1 pound of vegetable medley, 15 oz. of diced tomatoes and fresh produce.

Specials include:

2 pounds of boneless sirloin cut pork roast for $8

5 pounds of breaded and fully cooked popcorn chicken for $7.50

3 pounds of breaded shrimp for $16.50

3 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breasts for $5.25

2 pounds of mozzarella sticks for $5.75

6 pounds of Stouffer’s macaroni and cheese for $11.50
