NORWOOD -- Norwood Volunteer Fire Department is issuing a last call to groups and organizations interested in participating in the July 4 parade.
Organizations and individuals interested in being part of the parade should contact Bob Haggett by June 15, indicating the contact person, phone number, email address and a brief description of the department, business or organization. Due to the size of this parade, late entry requests may have be denied.
The parade theme for this year is “The Magic Kingdom”. First, Second and Third place plaques will be awarded to Marching Fire Departments and to floats upon the recommendation of parade judges.
The Arena at the Norwood Beach will be available to build and store floats starting on
July 1. The arena will be open from 12 noon until 8 p.m. daily before the July 4 parade. If you would like to reserve a space for your float, please contact Haggett at 212-1831 or email rhagget@twcny.rr.com
