CANTON – The American flag now flying above the Best Western University Inn is “picture perfect” and not the same one that appeared in a photo posted on NorthCountryNow.com on Monday.
The flag in Monday’s photo, which was taken on Feb. 27 while flying above the hotel on NYS Hwy. 11, has since been replaced. NorthCountryNow.com regrets failing to indicate the date the photo was taken.
The photo prompted comment from several viewers who were concerned because one of the edges of the flag was tattered.
But today, Anton Safonov, Best Western general manager, told NorthCountryNow.com “we just reconfirmed that our flag was picture perfect over the weekend as it is now.”
