LISBON – Five Lisbon students participated in the performance of the Nutcracker along side the Moscow Ballet Company on Tuesday.
Students auditioned on Sept. 24 at Julie's Dance Center in Ogdensburg with Moscow Ballet Company's principal ballerina Sanda Iungu.
The girls have since spent many hours between Julie's Dance Studio and Ogdensburg Dance Center learning and rehearsing their parts with the ballet instructors at both studios.
Maya Randle is cast in the role of a partygoer and a snow maiden. Megan Walker is cast as a snowflake. Julia Rishe will perform as a partygoer and a snow maiden. Layla Rishe will perform as a mouse. Olivia Lawton is cast as a partygoer.
