WINTHROP -- Brasher-Winthrop firefighters battled a barn fire early this morning on County Route 49.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at 1125 county Route 49 at 3:58 a.m. along with Tri-Town Rescue.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the St. Lawrence County Fire Investigation Team, according to a release from the Brasher-Winthrop Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
The extent of the damage was not reported.
Mutual aid was provided by Lawrenceville, Nicholville, West Stockholm and Hopkinton-Fort Jackson fire departments.
The owner of the property was not named and it is not known if the building was insured.
