POTSDAM -- An administrator from Southern Oregon University is to be the first of several candidates for SUNY Potsdam president to visit the campus.
Dr. James M. Klein will be on campus Tuesday and Wednesday and will participate in two open forums.
Klein is provost and vice president for academic and student affairs at SOU. He has previously served as Texas A&M University-Commerce Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and as interim dean of the College of Arts, Letters, and Sciences at California State University, Stanislaus.
Klein earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in music at the University of Texas at Austin, and his doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Klein will be in forums Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. on the eighth floor of Raymond Hall and 1:15 p.m. in the Barrington Student Union.
