BRASHER FALLS – A fire caused by smoking damaged a Rt. 11C home Thursday night.

The structure, owned by Lucien Plante, was occupied by three people. No injuries were reported.

Brasher-Winthrop volunteers and Tri-Town Rescue were called out just before 11 p.m. They were backed up by Helena and West Stockholm firefighters. The Brasher-Winthrop department was back in service by 12:36 this morning.
