MASSENA – Three people are homeless following a late night fire Tuesday at 442 County Route 37, according to the Massena Fire Chief.
Massena firefighters and rescue squad responded to the blaze around 10 p.m. but were unable to save the residence as the home is a total loss, the chief said.
The home was reportedly occupied by three people including owners Derrick and Mandy Planty.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Mutual aid was provided by firefighters from Brasher-Winthrop, Helena and Louisville.
No one was reported injured.
The home was reportedly insured.
