DEKALB -- A structure for housing workers at a farm in DeKalb has been destroyed by fire.
The strong blaze destroyed the workers' belongings, but no one was reported hurt in the blaze.
DeKalb Fire Department Assistant Chief Rich Wentzel said DeKalb volunteers were called out not long before noon Tuesday, followed soon by Lisbon, Morristown, Heuvelton, Rensselaer Falls and Richville fire companies for mutual aid while volunteers from Hermon, Gouverneur and Waddington were on standby.
The two-story residence stood on the farm of Allen Kelley.
