ST. REGIS FALLS -- Fire departments from as far away as Saranac Lake and Malone helped extinguish a fire in St. Regis Falls at around 12:50 a.m. today, according to Thomas Mierzwa, who sent this photo.
Mierzwa said the fire reportedly broke out when a fuel storage tank exploded at the rear end of an apartment building at the corner of Main and Spring streets across from Leroux gas station and convience store.
