RENSSELAER FALLS -- The last of TAUNY’s Green Walks takes place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16 at the Indian Creek Nature Center, County Rt. 14 between Morley and Rensselaer Falls.
The Green Walks are offered in honor and memory of long-time TAUNY friend, naturalist, and conservation biologist John Green. They are led by local experts who had close personal and professional connections with Green.
Led by SUNY Canton associate professor of biology Wil Rivers, the Indian Creek walk will focus on plant succession.
Supported by gifts made to TAUNY in memory of John Green, the Green Walks are free and open to all. Pre-registration for the walks is not required but would be appreciated for planning purposes (386-4289/ programs@tauny.org). Participants will meet in the parking lot by the main entrance.
