WANAKENA -- Fifty-five students at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) Ranger School will attend the school’s 101st commencement exercises on May 16.
Twenty-five students are completing an AAS program in forest technology, 11 students are finishing an AAS program in land surveying technology and 19 students are completing an AAS program in environmental and natural resources conservation.
Commencement speakers include: Michael R. Bridgen, Professor and Director, The Ranger School, and Dr. Quentin Wheeler, President of SUNY ESF. Dr. Anne Lombard, Dean, Student Affairs, Dr. David Newman, Chair, Forest and Natural Resources Management and Mr. Noah Herne, President of the Ranger School Alumni Association, will also be in attendance.
Among the graduates are North Country residents Connor Hardiman of Potsdam, Tyler Richardson of Ogdensburg and Thomas Todd of Harrisville.
Commencement will begin at 11 a.m. at the Clifton-Fine Central School P.A. Miranda Auditorium. Several awards will be presented to outstanding students and the valedictorian and salutatorian will receive certificates.
