OGDENSBURG -- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, will offer three information sessions in Potsdam and DeKalb Junction on its health insurance plans to help what they estimate at 14,000 uninsured children and adults in St. Lawrence County.
Fidelis Care will also partner with Massena Memorial Hospital to host an information session for local residents on New York State’s Medicaid Managed Care program.
Sessions are scheduled at the offices of Dr. Jay Schechter, 37 Pierrepont Ave., Potsdam, 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 2; and at E.J. Noble DeKalb Junction Health Center, 2924 County Route 17, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8.
To apply for enrollment in the government Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, or Medicaid Managed Care plans through Fidelis Care, bring proof of age, income, and address.
The Medicaid Managed Care Information Session will be held at Massena Memorial Hospital, 1 Hospital Drive, from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9.
