CANTON -- The North Country Migrant Education Program held a family picnic at the Canton Recreation Park on lower Lincoln Street for about 30 families recently.
The Canton Police Department, SUNY Canton Police Department and St. Lawrence Safety & Security each sent a bike patrol officer to provide bike and helmet safety instruction for the families.
In addition, Canton Fire Department provided fire safety to the attendees at the picnic.
