Fall foliage is at peak in the upper elevations of the Adirondacks and near peak in the southern most reaches of St. Lawrence County, according to iloveny.com.
"Spotters in the Tupper Lake and Mt. Arab areas expect peak foliage this weekend with 85 percent color change and bursts of magenta, rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry, bittersweet, dandelion, buttercup, russet and golden orange," the website reads.
In the central and northern reaches of St. Lawrence County, colors are at midpoint, according to the website.
According to the Foliage Network, leaf drop is low in the Adirondacks and St. Lawrence County. Their color change report shows peak color in scattered pockets of the High Peaks, with high color in parts of southeast St. Lawrence County and moderate color elsewhere.
