A sunny Monday and cloudy Tuesday could give way to rain for at least the next three days, according to meteorologists at the National Weather Service.

Monday's weather should taper off from a sunny day with mid-50s temperatures to a mostly clear night with thermometers dropping to a couple degrees above freezing.

Tuesday should be mostly sunny with highs once again in the mid-50s. Gouverneur and Star Lake could see that followed by a 20 percent chance of rain.

There is a 40 percent chance of rain in the p.m. hours for most communities. Massena is looking at 30 percent odds and Star Lake 50 percent. Temperatures are predicted in the high 30s

Veterans Day parades on Wednesday may get wet. All St. Lawrence County communities face a 30 percent chance of precipitation, with thermometers showing around 51 degrees and slightly cooler in higher elevations.

Wednesday night is anticipated to be mostly cloudy with temperatures around 40 degrees.

Thursday through Friday bring 70 percent chance of showers countywide, with temperatures going from the low 50s Thursday to the low 40s at night, rising slightly to the high-40s Friday.
