High pressure will result in continued fair weather over St. Lawrence County through the weekend, according to National Weather Service (NWS) forecasters.

Temperatures will reflect a warming trend through Monday before a front crosses the area

Monday night through Tuesday morning, NWS says.

We could see a few showers with the frontal passage Monday night and again on Tuesday. By Wednesday, building high pressure will keep the North Country dry through the end of the work week, the service says.

Highs today will be around 84 with sunny skies and winds of 10 to 14 mph, forecasters say. The overnight low will be around 64.

Monday will be a bit warmer with highs topping out around 86 with an overnight low of 66, NWS says.

A chance of showers before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 2pm and 5pm, then a chance of showers after 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. West wind around 7 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
