LOUISVILLE – One driver has been issued a ticket for failing to yield the right of way at the intersection of State Rt. 37 and Willard Road where a two-car accident Tuesday afternoon resulted in injuries to three people.

Ivan C. Delosh, 18, Massena, the driver of a black 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, and his passenger, Dylan J. Tyo, 16 of Massena, were first taken by Massena Rescue to Massena Memorial Hospital before being transferred to the University of Vermont Medical Center, formerly Fletcher Allen Medical Center, for further treatment.

State police said Delosh appeared to have a concussion and was complaining of pain, and Tyo had suspected internal injuries.

Marc Sullivan, 39, Liverpool, driving a gray 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, complained of pain and was taken to Massena Memorial, where he was treated and subsequently released.

Troopers said Delosh was issued a ticket for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

Rt. 37 traffic was detoured around the scene for several hours.
