MASSENA -- The St. Lawrence Centre Mall will be losing at least one more store.
Although the manager on duty at Express refused comment, a source close to the situation speaking on condition of anonymity said the outlet will close at the end of the month.
A person identifying themself as store manager at Bath and Body Works refused to comment on rumors that the store may soon shutter, and hung up the phone on a reporter making an inquiry. A request for comment to their public relations department was not immediately returned.
Express sells men’s and women’s clothing and Bath and Body Works sells beauty products.
In addition to those two stores, Sears and FYE have announced they will close at the end of January. Reports have indicated that Twisted Turtle will also close in the near future.
Additionally, Memory Lane went out of business in October and Sbarro’s pizzeria pulled up stakes sometime last year.
