Rain and drizzle will stay with us tonight, and fog could develop around St. Lawrence County, while the chance of thunderstorms makes its way into the forecast for Wednesday and Wednesday night.

There's a promise of sunny skies Friday through Tuesday, if the National Weather Service forecast holds true.

Temperatures won't drop much tonight, staying mainly in the low 50s, rising to about 70 with light winds Wednesday and the chance of some sun during the afternoon.

But chance of showers stays with us through Thursday night, though with no greater a chance than 40 percent, according to the NWS.

Friday the sun should return, and could pop up each day this coming weekend and through early next week.

Temperatures through the period will be mainly in the 60s in the day and 40s at night -- a little cooler Friday night, in the mid-30s.
