NORFOLK -- A Norfolk man faces multiple drug charges after he was pulled over for a loud exhaust, according to state police.
Troopers say they stopped a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier on state Highway 420 in the town of Norfolk for having an inadequate exhaust.
The driver, John C. Hyde, 26, of Moira allegedly found with of a small amount of marihuana and less than one gram of heroin, police said.
He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was also ticketed for inadequate exhaust, and failure to notify DMV of a change of address, police said.
Hyde was released on tickets for Town of Norfolk Court on Sept. 28 at 9 a.m., police said.
