STOCKHOLM – An electrical malfunction has been listed as the cause of a fire Thursday evening at a home on County Route 47, according to St. Lawrence County fire investigators.
The West Stockholm Fire Department responded at 7:36 p.m.
Firefighters were able to keep damage to a minimum at the structure owned by Jeffrey LaShomb at 2814, investigators said. Four people live in the home.
Mutual aid was provided by the Norwood, Norfolk and Brasher-Winthrop fire departments. The Tri-Town Rescue Squad also responded, but no injuries were reported.
West Stockholm firefighters returned to the station at 10 p.m., investigators said.
