HERMON -- An electrical issue is said to have caused a fire that Tuesday afternoon at 241 North Woods Road, according to St. Lawrence County Fire investigators.
Canton and Pyrites firefighters reportedly responded to the blaze at 12:15 p.m. along with Canton rescue squad members.
They were provided mutual aid from Hermon Russell, Potsdam and DeKalb fire departments.
"It was a good save by Hermon, Canton and Pyrites firefighters,,,the damage was limited to the kitchen," investigators said.
The damage was minimal and limited to smoke and water only, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
The property is reportedly owned by Greg Laddison. The home was reportedly insured.
