“St. Lawrence County is home to many talented artists; we are fortunate to have so many of them willing to share their talent in the hospital and on its campuses,” said Deborah Lauther, coordinator of the Artist in Residence program. “Art is a powerful sensory experience, and when we ‘connect’ with a piece of art, the healing process is aided. Our patients and visitors enjoy seeing the talent of our local artists, and in many instances, recognizable scenes from St. Lawrence County.”
Many of the works, with the exception of the permanent collection, are for sale. More info: Deborah Lauther at 261-5413, or dchaselauther@cphospital.org.
