EDWARDS — An Edwards woman was arrested Jan. 27 stemming from a reported overdose on Shaw Road Dec. 16, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Rachel R. Newvine, 29, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, officers said.
Deputies said when the responded to the scene Newvine was unresponsive with a child in her presence that was under her care at the time.
Due to her condition, she was unable to care for the child, deputies said.
Newvine was cited and released on an appearance ticket.
