FINE – Two Edwards men were jailed on burglary and grand larceny charges for an incident that occurred Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Gregory S. Lanphear, 23, and Michael C. Brown, 25, were charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny.

The charges stem from an alleged burglary in the Town of Fine where the pair apparently stole $1,191 from a residence.

Lanphear and Brown were arraigned in Pierrepont Court.

Lanphear was held without bail and Brown was held on $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.

Deputies were assisted by state police in the investigation.
