RUSSELL -- Edwards Knox Central School proudly hung their new records board in the swimming pool area recently.
A long-time wish of a previous swim coach and now dedicated to her memory, the record board displays the names of those individuals from the Edwards-Knox Swim Team with the fastest times in each race.
Credit for the project goes to Tony Bartocha who provided a photo for establishing the records, Mike Nezezon who donated wood and cut the boards, Mike Gault who assembled the parts, Milt Bessette who allowed his room to be used for building and storage, the Booster Club which funded the project, the custodians who assisted; John Daniels and Paul Hull mounted the finished record board.
The swimmers began to sand and paint the boards at their first practice in August.
Coach Nezezon recognized those girls who dedicated their time and energy.
