POTSDAM -- Local residents may help those less fortunate in the community by bringing in items to the Edward Jones branch office during regular business hours from now to Friday, Sept. 7.
"As our world becomes more global, competition within our younger generations continues to rise, emphasizing the importance of a quality education," said Financial Advisor Gary M Throop. "I'm proud to support the academic development of young minds in this community through this school supply donation program.
The items needed for the school supply drive include: pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, markers, rulers, pencil boxes, paper, notebooks, and folders.
The branch address is 9 Maple Street Potsdam.
