HEUVELTON -- Dr. Bill Daggett, Founder and Chairman of the International Center for Leadership in Education, Inc., addressed teachers and administrators from the Heuvelton, Colton-Pierrepont and Parishville-Hopkinton Central School Districts on Thursday.

Daggett is known worldwide for his efforts to move PreK-12 education systems towards more rigorous and relevant skills and knowledge for all students, release from the Heuvelton Central School says.

Daggett's presentation to the three districts offered strategies that schools can use to improve the performance of all students, even during times of declining financial resources.

He has assisted states, school districts, and education ministries in other countries with their school reform initiatives and is the creator of the Rigor/Relevance Framework, a practical planning and instructional tool that is used in schools throughout the United States, the release says.

Daggett encourages his audiences to embrace what is best about our education system and to make the changes necessary to meet the needs of all students.
