A good way to celebrate Earth Day April 22 and Arbor Day April 25 is to plant some trees or shrubs this spring, says the St. Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District.
They will be taking orders until Friday, April 4 for a variety of low-cost plant materials.

The Soil and Water Conservation District has represented the county in obtaining technical, financial, and educational resources from federal, state and other sources since 1957. The mission is to coordinate these to meet local needs in natural resource conservation, management, and development.
