CLARE -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff deputies say they charged a New Hampshire man after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a home on Friday.

Shaun E. Skeldon, 31, of North State Street, Concord, N.H. is charged with speed not reasonable and prudent and unregistered motor vehicle.

Deputies say he lost control of his vehicle on county Route 24, exited the road and struck a residence, causing extensive interior and exterior damage.

Russell Rescue Squad took him from the scene to Canton-Potsdam Hospital for evaluation, deputies said.

Skeldon was released with appearance tickets for Clare Town Court, police said.
