POTSDAM -- The sidewalks near the corner of Main and Market streets will be closed beginning Nov. 9 so that renovations to the upper stories of the Arlington Hotel can be done.
The village Department of Public Works says the plan is to close the Market Street part of the walk at the inn will be closed Monday, Nov. 9 and re-opened Monday, Nov. 16.
On that day, the Main Street walk will be closed and is expected to open again that Friday, Nov. 20.
The Arlington Hotel will be renovated using funding from the Village of Potsdam administered by the village’s Planning and Development Office. The funds have come from the New York Main Street Program.
