Work is expected to begin on or about Monday, Oct. 15 and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
During that time, traffic will be diverted around the rail crossing site using a path around it and local streets.
Motorists traveling north will use a close-in detour; those traveling south will be directed along Cook Street and Wells Street and back to State Route 420.
