Contributions to TAUNY’s Bridge the Gap campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar through a special donor-sponsored challenge fund through Wednesday, Oct. 14 at midnight.
With the campaign drawing to a close, several TAUNY friends have offered a total of $8,750 in challenge money to match gifts made by the public. The TAUNY Board of Directors is asking people to take advantage of the opportunity to double their gifts and help TAUNY reach its $50,000 goal.
“Contributions in any amount will help us reach the goal, and with the dollar-for-dollar match, each individual gift will go twice as far,” says TAUNY Director of Development Laura Desmond.
TAUNY urgently needs to raise $50,000 to make up for a 6-month gap in funding support from the New York State Council on the Arts. To learn more about the campaign, and to contribute, readers can visit tauny.org, stop by The TAUNY Center at 53 Main St. in downtown Canton, or visit TAUNY’s Facebook page.
