Republican challenger Matt Doheny and Democratic incumbent Bill Owens have revealed their first TV ads of the campaign for New York's 31st Congressional District seat.
Matt Doheny's "Fighting For Jobs" 30-second spot was to begin airing on TV stations in the Watertown market starting on Tuesday.
The Owens spot highlights his service at Plattsburgh Air Force Base and practical approach to job creation. The ad will air initially in the Albany media market, which includes southeastern portions of the newly redrawn 31st Congressional District.

Doheny, Republican from the Watertown area, lost to Plattsburgh Democrat Owens in a race that included tea party favorite Doug Hoffman, Conservative from Saranac Lake, who was still on the ballot on the Conserrvative Party line even though he had withdrawn from the race a month before the election.
