AKWESASNE -- The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club received a donation from film partners Honest Engine Films, Real Mohawk Entertainment and 17MM Films.
A former club staff Brant Davis from Real Mohawk Entertainment (RME), was on hand to present the ABGC Executive Director Jessica Cree-Jock with a check for $3,000 on behalf of film companies.
“The ABGC Attack Lacrosse Program is excited to start this season off with a donation that will enable the program to buy some needed supplies for the season.” stated Jessica Cree Jock, executive director, “We thank Brant Davis and his partners Joanne Storkan and Tom Ryan for thinking of the Club’s Attack Lacrosse Program.”
Davis and his partners Joanne Storkan of Honest Engine Films and Tom Ryan of 17MM Films, are working on a lacrosse documentary set for a 2017-2018 release date.
Also this year, the Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club launched their new website that includes a new Attack Lacrosse page with online registration and online store for all your attack gear.
