It sure felt like fall in St. Lawrence County this morning, but sunny, summer-like days are expected right through Labor Day.
Temperatures dropped into the mid-40s early this morning, but today’s high is expected to be near 74, according to the National Weather Service.
Here’s the forecast for the next seven days from the weather service:
• Tonight Clear, with a low around 48. Southwest wind 8 to 11 mph.
• Thursday Sunny, with a high near 85. Breezy, with a southwest wind 13 to 22 mph.
• Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 60. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 22 mph.
• Friday A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1pm and 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Breezy, with a southwest wind 17 to 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Friday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
• Saturday Sunny, with a high near 74.
• Saturday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 55.
• Sunday Sunny, with a high near 75.
• Sunday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
• Labor Day Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
• Monday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.
• Tuesday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
