CANTON -- A Canton woman was charged with drunken driving after St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies say her blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit.

Linda Maginn, 67, of 36 Woods Drive, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated at Sunoco early Thursday morning.

Deputies said she was found to be intoxicated and when she got into her vehicle, they attempted to stop her. Deputies say she drove around the parking lot before stopping her vehicle.

Deputies said a breath test revealed Maginn had a blood alcohol content of .25 percent of 1 percent.

The legal limit is less than .08 percent.

Maginn was released on traffic tickets.
