Deputies arrest man for drug possession in Lisbon, found to be wanted by U.S. Marshalls on unrelated charges
LISBON—A Bronx man arrested by county sheriff’s deputies on drug related charges May 7 was taken into custody at the county jail after it was found he was wanted by U.S. Marshals.
Christian R. Gonzales, 24, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Deputies report that they were assisting the landlord at a rental unit at 6348 County Route 10 in Lisbon, when they found that Gonzalez, who was staying at the address, possessed marijuana and oxycodone pills.
Gonzalez was also charged with two counts of false personation after giving deputies fake names and dates of birth.
Deputies fingerprinted Gonzalez to identify him. Once identified, it was determined that he was wanted by U.S. Marshals on a warrant.
Gonzalez was transported to the county jail to be held pending further action.
