POTSDAM -- Five people face charges following a shoplifting investigation at Walmart, 7494 U.S. Highway 11, according to St. Lawrence Country sheriff's deputies.
Charged with sixth-degree conspiracy and petit larceny were:
• Mazaher G. Kaila, 18, Syracuse
• Ashley S. Mensah, 18, Bronx
Deputies said Alicia L. Jones, 19, Bronx was charged with sixth-degree conspiracy.
Juliette M. Souma, 19, New York was cited for petit larceny, officers said.
Deputies said it was a joint investigation with state police.
All subjects were released on appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam court at a later date.
Charges against the fifth person were dismissed.
