CANTON – A pair of dental hygienists who met while training in Syracuse have worked together for over 27 years in the same Canton office.
Dental hygienists Carla Frank and Judy Chase have each practiced for 35 years and even went to hygiene school together, graduating in 1978. This summer will mark their 35th career anniversary.
Frank, originally from Gouverneur, and Chase, originally from Potsdam, met in 1976 in when they enrolled in the dental hygiene program at Onondaga Community College.
Both planned on coming back to the North Country to practice after graduation.
Frank took a job with Dr. Mark Moreau in Canton and has stayed with that practice for 35 years. The practice has changed ownership to Dr. Bryan Francey and is now Smile Associates.
Chase began practicing in the office of Dr. Roy Livingston and stayed for seven years. In 1986, she joined Frank at Dr. Moreau’s office, and the two have worked together since then.
“They have so much energy and are truly committed to Smile Associates and their patients,” said Dr. Francey.
