Democratic Party county chairs from around the state’s Fourth Judicial District have endorsed a slate of candidates running for judge in the district.
The chairs of the 11 Democratic committees comprising the 4th Judicial District, including St. Lawrence County Party Chair Mark J. Bellardini, made their endorsements after interviews and discussions.
The four candidates selected to run on th Democratic Party line in November are Judge Christine Clark, Judge Jeffrey Wait, John Silvestri and Judge Mark Blanchfield.
Clark, Wait, and Blanchfield all have judicial and legal experience, and Silvestri has practiced law in upstate New York for three decades.
The Fourth Judicial District includes the counties of St. Lawrence, Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington.
