DEKALB -- Gordon Poole recently presented a copy of the DeKalb Historical Reader to the Hermon-De Kalb School library.

The Reader contains 266 pages of local history and was published by the De Kalb Historical Association. The school has a close tie with the association's museum and visits for spring programs.

The book will be a research tool for students.

Copies of the book are available on Amazon or at the museum which is open Wednesdays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
