DEKALB – AmVets Post 11 has made several donations recently to organizations in the area.
Morris Jeffries, AmVets Post 11 3rd Vice Commander, says the post donated $100 to the Hermon-DeKalb Teachers Association walk/run, $100 to Mountain Warriors Sled Hockey team, $100 to St Jude's Children's Hospital, $100 to the American Cancer Society, $100 to the American Red Cross, $100 to USO Washington, $150 to the Russell Volunteer Fire Dept. $150 to the Hermon Volunteer Fire Dept., and $150 to the DeKalb Volunteer Fire Dept.
