OGDENSBURG – A decomposing body was found just off the Maple City Trail Monday, Oct. 19 in Ogdensburg near Route 37.
St. Lawrence County Coroner Kevin J. Crosby confirmed the death of a white male, who has not yet been identified. Crosby said the body was found in the woods near the trail.
Ogdensburg City Police detectives were not available for comment.
Crosby said police would release him the identity of the man at a later time.
Crosby said he was unsure of the cause of death, but said an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
