The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is extending the public comment period on the draft Unit Management Plan (UMP) for what it calls the Grass River Wild Forest and Draft Recreation Management Plans (RMPs) for the Grass River Conservation Easement and the Tooley Pond Conservation Easement.
Public comments can be submitted by mail or email. All comments must be received by Dec. 14.
They can be sent to Aaron Graves, DEC Forester, NYS DEC, 6739 US Highway 11, Potsdam, NY 13676, or to r6.ump@dec.ny.gov.
