POTSDAM -- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is extending the public comment period on the draft amendment to the 5 Mile Conservation Easement Interim Recreation Management Plan and the conservation easement portion of the Raquette Boreal Wild Forest Unit Management Plan (UMP).
The draft amendment plan can be found on the DEC website at: http://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/22573.html.
Public comment on the draft amendment plan will be accepted through Nov. 10.
